Can I play directly on Avelentora?+
No. We are a reading desk, not a games portal. Every review ends with a link to the publisher's own site, and that is where you create an account and play. We host no clients, no downloads and no embedded versions.
Are the games really free?+
They are free to start and free to keep playing. Nearly all of them sell optional items, cosmetics or time-savers, and some are much harder to enjoy without spending. Each review has a section describing exactly where the money sits.
How do you rate a game?+
Scores weigh four things: how well the core loop holds up over a fortnight, how fair the free path feels, how stable the game is in practice, and how clearly it explains itself to a new player. A high score means we would recommend it to a friend, not that it is flawless.
How often do you update listings?+
Every listing carries the date our desk last played it. We work through the shelf on a rolling cycle, and we jump the queue when a game ships a major update or a reader reports that something has changed.
Do publishers pay to appear or receive better ratings?+
No. Placement, scores and the wording of a review are decided by the desk alone. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the listing itself before anything else.
Do I need an account to save games?+
No. The save button keeps your shortlist in your own browser storage on this device. Nothing is sent to us, and clearing your browser data clears the list.
Are these games safe to install?+
The links we publish go to official publisher domains, which is the safest route available. Avoid third-party mirrors offering the same game, and read our field guide on account safety before signing up anywhere.
There is an error in a review. What should I do?+
Tell us through the contact page. Corrections are the fastest thing we act on — we would rather fix a listing quietly today than defend it for a month.
