Every outbound link on this site points to a publisher-operated domain, and we re-check them during each review cycle. Even so, form the habit of reading the address bar before you type anything into a login form.
Publishers rarely use unusual top-level domains for their main sign-up pages, and they never ask for payment details simply to create a free account.
Currency and account scams
Third-party sites offering discounted premium currency are the most common source of trouble. At best the purchase breaks the game's terms of service; at worst it takes your card details and your account.
Buy in-game currency only through the game client or the publisher's own store, and enable two-factor authentication wherever it is offered.
